Job Description:
As a Principal Data Scientist, you will play a vital role in gathering the necessary information, formulating working hypotheses, and systematically solving problems. You will leverage your expertise in data science to deliver valuable solutions and new services to our clients. Acting as the connection between the client, key stakeholders, and the delivery team, you will supervise a team of data professionals and ensure the successful execution of projects. Additionally, you will provide architecture analysis, solution design, and advice on platform/technology choices. Your responsibilities will also include proposition development, business development, and mentoring colleagues in their career progression.
Experience:
- Master’s degree in a quantitative science such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Econometrics, Physics, etc.
- 5+ years of work experience in designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Business acumen, understanding the business objective, process, and context to achieve desired outcomes.
- Knowledge and understanding of various data concepts and technologies.
Working Conditions:
- 2 days per week at the office, 3 days remote.
- 25 vacation days.

Responsibilities (per week):
- Understanding and solving challenging business issues using data across various customer segments: 10 hrs.
- Implementing and integrating solutions and applications in diverse system landscapes: 10 hrs.
- Maintaining transparent and adequate communication with stakeholders regarding outcomes, progress, or setbacks: 10 hrs.
- Training and coaching business consultants and junior team members: 5 hrs.
- Building and maintaining a relevant network with existing and potential customers: 5 hrs.
- Total per week: 40 hrs.
