As a Data Engineer, you have the opportunity to make a difference by collecting, modeling, and structuring complex data sets. Your expertise in developing data pipelines enables you to handle these tasks efficiently. Working in project teams, you contribute to designing end-to-end solutions for data products. Your skills extend to both on-premise and cloud environments, and you are comfortable with coding. You are familiar with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and Infrastructure-as-Code. Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud.
• Preferred experience in SQL, Python, data pipelines, API access, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, data architecture, data storytelling, Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• 2 days per week at the office, 3 days remote.

The Team: The team consists of 20 people who primarily communicate in English.

Responsibilities (per week):

• Setting up cloud OTAP environments for platforms such as Azure, AWS, DataBricks: 10 hrs.
• Developing Analytical end products using tools like PowerBI, Cognos: 15 hrs.
• Training and guiding business consultants and junior developers in the application of cloud technology: 5 hrs.
• Co-developing Valcon’s Cloud proposition: 5 hrs.
• Building and maintaining a relevant network with current and new customers: 5 hrs.
• Total per week: 40 hrs.
