Job Description:
As a Principal Data Engineer, you can make a difference by collecting, modeling, and structuring complex data sets. Your responsibilities include developing data pipelines to handle these tasks effectively. In project teams, you will contribute to designing end-to-end solutions for data products. This position requires proficiency in both on-premise and cloud environments, as well as coding skills. Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) is desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and IBM Cloud.
- Experience with the following methods is an advantage: SQL, Python, data pipelines, API access, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, data architecture, data storytelling, Infrastructure-as-Code.

Working Conditions:
- 2 days per week at the office, 3 days remote.

The Team: The team consists of 20 people who primarily communicate in English.
Responsibilities (per week):
- Setting up cloud OTAP environments for platforms like Azure, AWS, DataBricks: 10 hrs.
- Developing analytical end products using tools like PowerBI, Cognos: 15 hrs.
- Training and guiding business consultants and junior developers in the application of cloud technology: 5 hrs.
- Co-developing the Cloud proposition: 5 hrs.
- Building and maintaining a relevant network with current and new customers: 5 hrs.
- Total: 40 hrs per week.
