If I had to describe this individual in a few words, these would definitely be: robust, diligent, result-oriented and technically capable professional who is a pleasure working with. I've had the opportunity to work alongside them for nearly 4 years during their tenure in a large technology company - being close to them and the work they did in the team. Apart from their obvious technical skills related to DB architecture and management, they continuously exhibited an even more important skill - the ability to quickly find information online and adapt it to the task at hand, which allowed them to overcome obstacles beyond their skillset at the given time, learn and grow on the job day-by-day.

Another noticeable feature of their work is their willingness to go the extra mile when it comes to value-add - being proactive in their suggestions, putting in extra effort whenever needed, and being uncompromising with deadlines. Apart from that, I found them to be an amicable person, colleague and friend - they occasionally have interesting information to share (with a smile on their face), are always ready to discuss a topic in length, and are there to offer help and advice no matter if the theme is professional or personal. A kind and honorable person of great integrity, they are greatly missed.
